Prior to 2018, Enugu did not have individuals or groups of individuals running fairs for SMEs except the state government. Women who could not afford the space to deploy their goods did not have the privilege to gain state-made visibility.
Santa Fair was birthed out of the need to have more women-owned SMEs gain visibility and since 2018 till date, we have helped over 3000 women-owned SMEs gain visibility and increase sales.
At inception in 2018, we had just 23 women that were empowered. Today Santa Fair Afrique has helped over 3000 women-owned SMEs gain visibility for Six years, created online communities to enhance networking amongst themselves, and organized Business master classes.
We organized our first local trade Fair for these SMEs in December 2018 with zero external financings or support. Since then, we have successfully pulled the trade Fair off every December, and in 2021 we introduced the Easter edition for women to gain more visibility for what they do.
By Santa fair 4.0, we had our big break! Santa Fair 2021 recorded over 150 vendors and 7000 buying crowd. For the first time, individual female vendors recorded up to ₦4 million worth of sales in just 3 days.
Santa Fair is an annual trade Fair borne by SANTA FAIR AFRIQUE, duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission and has been operational in South-East Nigeria, so far.
This business exhibition which turned into a movement of mass sales for women-owned businesses, is positioned to plug into the untapped economic force in African female entrepreneurship.
The idea is to take advantage of the power of collaboration and leverage functional networks and other pro-SME platforms to drive economic growth.

Yes, for every fair, we have a standard fee for a vendor full stand and half stand.
A Standard full stand comprises one Single Canopy, two tables & three chairs.
Our standard half-stand comprises half of a single canopy, one table & two chairs. Please check out our vendor page for more details on Stands.
A full stand in Enugu costs #150,000 while a half stand costs #80,000.
As a vendor, you can choose to sell whatever you wish.
However, you can only sell the products or services you indicated and submitted as the list of items you want to sell.
Anything found outside the category of what you submitted as goods will not be allowed.
